She's complaining about how they're late, but she's watching Titanic, so clearly they have plenty of time.Wakarimashita wrote: http://www.mangarush.com/manga/detective-conan/312/p-16
Also is it in bad taste to watch Titanic during a drowning case?

This thread is moving in an interesting direction.
If Aoyama deliberately made that image to prove Sera's gender, I wonder what the odds are the anime will cut it out anyway like they usually do.

From what I've seen, the action scenes don't seem too modified so it's possible it may stay. Of course, it could end up being from a different angle.
Or maybe we'll be lucky and it'll be there for a millisecond xD

I guess we can only hope/pray/bribe we get a glimpse just for fundoublemoonlight wrote: I am betting my money that amime will cut off panty-shot. ( like they did with haibara's one)
Anyway, from the visuals of 771, it seems the Kid heists actually are counted in the main plot. They're probably not important themselves, but Conan's presence in the newspapers is brought up here. Which...seems weird, tbh. I mean, why is Haibara so casual about it? Sure she hides when the cameras are around, but apparently glasses are enough to get Conan a worry-free pass and then some.
Also, since this will bug me, am I the only one who momentarily thought that one sort of chubby woman was the same one from the London case? I obviously corrected myself and it's inevitable with all of the characters, but no one else has mentioned it. ...Maybe it's just me >3>

I suppose that was a bad way to put it
My point was that the Kid heists seem to be viewed as just filler within canon. Y'know: a different aspect where there's not always a murder and there's a 'friendly' enemy. The heists aren't involved with the BO and Kid isn't mentioned in BO cases *except for the 'Vermouth being able to disguise like Kid' thing* I guess it's just weird that there've been so many Kid cases but only now the 'Edogawa Conan being in the newspaper may be a bad thing for Kudo Shinichi' has come up. Just seems odd that it took so long to be picked up if the newspapers were supposed to be important is all

It was brought up in the Kirin's horn case, Ai hid herself from the reporters.

About how Ai referenced to the kid heists...
The chubby woman looks a bit different from Diana, but still fairly similar. Rather, I thought the woman that Ran thought of/the reporter flashed back was the victim in the recent clock case.

Man, I suck at explaining. xD
Ai hiding makes sense. It was for a good reason: if she were to be on the news, even being a child, the Org could recognize her and things would go haywire.
What I've been getting at is the fact that Conan's involvement with the newspapers in Kid heists is handled very lightly, even with Ai. I mean, he's on the front page pretty much every heist. If the Org is as dangerous as Ai makes it out to be, you'd think she wouldn't approve of Conan being in the newspapers as a simple search by an Org member could reveal that 'Edogawa Conan' isn't a real person. Which would then lead to Shinichi eventually (again, if they're as good as Ai makes them out to be)
When I say the heists are 'canon filler' I meant it as they don't seem to affect the plot in anyway...until now apparently. Before this point, the importance of Kid heists has been equal to, say, the Ramen case or the Watchmen of time.
Hopefully I was clearer this time
