I don't see how that would make sense though, as that would need a lot of makeup to cover it up.

But when? They haven't met besides that bus. And Conan was there at the time. Yet he seemed surprised hen Sera knew his name. So it's obvious that... Gosho-san doesn't want us to find out!

Well, if we go with the Akai sister route, Sera could've done her own investigating about the conditions of Akai's death and things that were happening prior to it and noticed that a kid was hanging around her brother and the FBI for a while.

And I really hope she's in a case again soon and hopefully expedites the plot.

Though, did Conan ever figure out that Sera was a girl?

Well, I don't see how she could have investigated Akai's death from abroad or how she could have found out about Conan that way. But there is a resemblance, I'll give you that.

And Conan at the very least never referred to Sera as a boy, and since he is Conan, he probably knows.

I am still find it difficult to understand how Conan/Shinichi has fallen easily for Sera's tricks.

Also, since he most probably realised that she is a girl before the rest, why he was annoyed when she said that she is going to the same hotel ( is it just to trick from Gosho to make us think that she is a boy).

Well, the fact that Conan said 'Sera-san' and not '-niisan' or '-neesan' shows that Conan either suspected that Sera was a girl but wasn't certain or that he knew but wanted to see everyone else's reactions. In my opinion it's probably the former which would explained why he's annoyed (though there's also the fact that Shinichi is very protective and Sera had shown on the bus that she could easily injure Ran

, pick whichever you think fits).
