Going back to the panel where she heard the name Kudo Shinichi, her expression isn't one of a person who just had her suspicion confirmed. She obviously sees through Conan's charade immediately, but it doesn't look like she knew that Conan is Shinichi.

Maybe she even has a crush on her.

I have a feeling that maybe she's trying to tease Conan because she knew the relationship between Ran and Shinichi --> She knew Conan is Shinichi, or at least suspect it. That would explain why she deduced wrong on purpose to confirm her suspicion.

I think Sera is one of the four detectives mentioned by Gosho a while ago.(North and South are still missing)

I have to admit that Conan took quite a risk there calling as shinichi because Sera got suspicious

Just because one's in prison and the other dead doesn't mean they have to be replaced.

Oh, and Sera was obviously suspicious before that and just wanted him to make such a stupid mistake. And can it be a coincidence that she joins Shinichi's class? I think not.

She may have just been planning to join Ran's class all along. Given that Conan lives with Ran and Kogoro, it's a logical way to get close to him (probably why she wanted to leave a positive impression on Ran, too).

Possibly, Eisuke has done something similar. But I don't think Ran's and Shinichi's relationship is public knowledge, i.e. something she could have researched whilst abroad.

I don't think she's one of the BO, if she was, knowing Conan = Shinichi, he would be dead right now. She could be Akai's relative since her eye is alike him, plus he knew Haibara's indentity (or suspect it), he might know about Conan too ( he work with Conan in Clash of Red and Black, even thought Conan's just a kid and the mission's important). Maybe Akai told Sera about Conan.

Not sure how to feel about the title of this thread since it has Sera's name in it and anime only people might catch it from the index page. True, it doesn't spoil anything about Sera other than her name, but still.......

In the other thread, there were still many who even after knowing the conclusion of file 770 still think that Sera is a guy and is just crossdressing. To these people I'm gonna say one thing - Sera is a girl, deal with it. The whole mystery was about her gender which was confused to be a boy but was revealed to be a girl. Screwing with the gender of this character any further is just pointless.

No, she probably just want to check his reaction. About why she know about ShinRan, maybe she heard it from one of their schoolmate.

It could be she heard from an FBI agent ( if she related to them) that there was a kid who stick around Akai in the Rena protection mission. It would be strange for a kid to be involve in such an important mission, she might find information about Conan and starting to suspect him

I don't think she'd know too much about Conan since his involvment was to be kept as secret as possible. And then there's the question of why Conan had a Union Jack on his trouser's pocket. Just a red herring?
