I'm going to present our thesis in an international forum tomorrow, and I was only informed today. This is just...ugh! I hate this! I did not even pass the paper for oral presentation. I did not pass it because I don't want to speak in front of a large audience, but now they are going to force me anyway. The one who should speak there is the one who passed it. Ever heard of taking responsibility for your actions?!

Sorry for ranting, but this really 'made my day'....

Yeah, you are somehow right about it being a favor. Heck, you are right about it being a favor if I really wanted this. Having the chance to speak in front of an international forum is actually an opportunity, right? The problem is I don't want to. I get nervous in front of large crowds

But thanks for pointing that out Abs.

I will just try thinking about this positive side of being forced to present tomorrow.
