generally, the GM tells the dead in the GY who's who so they can keep up, yeah. But there isn't a rule that states that it's necessary, by any means.

Though, if you really think telling certain dead people will be a bad idea (such that they'd leak roles etc), just don't let them play the game in the first place, because apparently they're spoilsports. :P

I just was not sure, but I guess I can do that to be nice :)

ps: For this round I am thinking about bringing back personal objectives...although they would be limited so not everybody would get one

I would only give them out when I think it should be done :)

If you're going to put in personal objectives with rewards/consequences, be very careful about how you plan them out. From both of the games we've played with things like that, the rewards/consequences have had the power to significantly impact the game.

Personally, as much fun as it was to have the rewards, I think I like it better without objectives. But I may be one of the few that feel that way. :P

I'd be interested to see the POs again as long as the game is balanced. ^^

like I said they will be limited on the roles I think should have them. They will make sense

Heck I might not get any roles in play that I think should have a PO as I only know of 5 roles offhand I'd give PO's to

One of the problems with them, is that only the GM can give an opinion about, since the players aren't able to know and give their thoughts about it. My mistake with them, was that I toned the Tasks down from their original difficulty, but didn't tone down the rewards accordingly.

POs are expected to influence the game, but you cannot know how (at least there's Round 14 now to use as comparison) they will affect the game, making the balancing harder (My main fault on Round 20). Even if only a few players will have a PO, study well how much they can affect the game.

So personal objectives are like the tasks in Round 20? :-\ I've never seen a game played with them before.

POs are an extra aim you have besides your main objective of taking down the opposite side, which give you a reward upon completing it. You can look on Round 14 for them ;)

...POs?   *has 'Nam flashbacks*

If I have to Anokata a bunch of Conan-loving, info-mongering, bomb-equipped traitors again, I will KILL you, CTU.

Don't worry about it I won't make any silly PO's where the ORG members kill etch other or anything like that :)

EDIT: another change I am thinking about is the possibility of making Yumi a NPC is she is not picked as a role. So I can have lovers in the round if Yumi is not being played
