Pofa doesn't send PMs when you get frightened. However, when you notice your vote missing, you know that someone discombobulated you.

Didn't see this until just now, sorry. Without commenting on the specific situation, the rules say that if someone is frightened, the only way they'll be notified is if they try and send in a day action and it fails. Otherwise, their vote will just not show up. It's similar to someone who was discombob'd not being notified about it unless they used a night action. Since voting isn't really considered an action, I guess.
