He's actually grown quite a bit in the manga. I don't have the scans, but he was below Kogoro's knees or something at the start, his head was huge and his arms and legs were tiny; he's more in proportion now, and taller. No no, I meant in the anime. The height they draw him at in the anime seems to always be different. Sometimes he is taller than the knee, sometimes he is shorter than the knee, and he is always shorter than a real 7 year old. But always being drawn smaller than a real 7 year old seems to be in all anime, so thats not the big issue.
