just wondering what makes you think that this B.O arc will last only until 705?
does that mean we only have 2 chapters left?

Don't feel stupid. I took a wild guess that it was a six chapter case instead of a five chapter case back when I made the thread... So yes, it was an estimate. Maybe a mod could change the title if it ends at 704 instead or goes on longer than 705...

I don't really know. Both Gin and Okiya were too cryptic to understand (to me at least). HOWEVER first Gin recognized that person as Akai, but later it seems like he decided against it. why do I say it? Because he didn't kill Kir.

edit: removed the part that talks about the next file because Ginrei changed it now to 700-704.

- in this arc, it is explicitly stated that Gin doesn't know what Bourbon is doing
- Akai once was a BO member, that's why haibara's radar is on and off randomly

yeah!that's why i think too!gogho gave  many obvious clues to make us believe that Okiya=Akai(the way conan trusts him,haibara's  radar,the fact that Akai also like drinking bourbon,like okiya,and also the fact that Ran have seen him before...)!
even without making  a complicated explanation,it's not hard to think that Okiya=Akai
that's why i hope gosho will surprise me with a completetly different theory(such as,okiya is akai's hidden brother i don't know...) cause i would be disappoited if okiya=akai... (using the same deguise trick again )

I dare to say that DC fans are always thinking when they read the files, therefore I'm sure that most do very well think that Okiya is Akai - as well as most surely have noticed that there was something odd with Akai's "death" (the mouth is evidence enough). Then, someone suddenly appears whom Conan immediately allows to live in his house. Of course even Conan can be mistaken sometime, but he would never allow a bad guy to live in his house. Besides, at least to me the chemistry between them is the same as between Akai and Conan in the previous BO arc.

As a result, I bet on "Okiya is Akai and scar Akai is Bourbon". I'm absolutely sure about the first thing and pretty sure about the second.

Detective Conan should have been a real life show.

It is a real life show. A J-drama (or for the romaji pronounced way "J-dorama")... >D  Although, I'm kind of weirded out, even if it's a child actor, about the way little Shinichi is always staring up at Ran. Manga universe, it feels fine, but in an actual live action show, it just feels kind of....wrong. >__<  I tried not to think of it that way, but...I can't help it!

It seems like stating the bloody obvious to mention this now, but we know Okiya != Vermouth. Barring a multiple disguise ploy, the only options left are Okiya is Akai, Bourbon, Kudo Yuusaku, or someone else, and scar Akai is Akai, Bourbon, or someone else.

no,a lot of normal reader have easily thought that okiya=akai^^,(and they aren't in this forum )
people aren't stupid to fall in the same trap as the Jodie=Vermouth in vol42,thay won't think that okiya=bourbon because of the obvious things such as Okiya is drinking Bourbon,or haibara can feel him as a bo member...
on the contrary,a normal reader,who has seen the previous volumes or episodes and is used to Gosho's style,will not think that Okiya=Bourbon...
same thing with akai's "death,a normal reader won't think he's dead ,when they look at Conan's reaction when he knew that(he wasn't sad or shocked...on the contrary).
and concerning Okiya=akai...well even a normal reader can make this theory,just looking at conan's reactions toward Okiya(he trust him even knowing that haibara can feel him as a bo member) and his friendly relationship with him(it really looks like conan/akai's complicity ,no?)not to mention that he appeared right after akai's "death"...

wall actually i won't be satisfied if okiya=akai in deguise,because gosho already used that trick ,and also because it would be interesting if Okiya was  a new character...^^

Well, I hope that "new case" (705) is BO related.

After reading 704, things just getting more complicated for me  I cannot think any further. For now, OUT with the theory that "Akai" = Vermouth. But that doesn't solve anything at all 

But I noticed three strange things:

If Scar Akai is Bourbon/real Akai, why would he send that message to Mouri ? It's obvious that he doesn't want to show himself, yet he still appear in public !!!

Maybe his motive is to be release from that floor as quick as possible (because he felt himself under watched, by Okiya of course). But if he has known that the bombs are fake from the beginning, why didn't he flee from that floor right then, so he can escaped from the one that discovered him ?

And, as many as the files were released, it seems this event is more like "Akai hunting" than "Sherry hunting" LOL... 

Since I'm really tired of guessing, SO NOW, FOR THE VERY LAST THEORY OF MINE:
