We were above 0°C today and there was sun

Staff meeting was much funnier than I anticipated, mainly because a) there was cake and b) Lucy and Kirsty successfully set a silly tone for the entire thing by doing the opening roleplay about how we should present the new catalogue to customers as a lesbian couple out shopping for their new flat. (Steven, ten minutes into the roleplay: "Wait, youse two are LESBIANS?!"). Steven then cheered the revelation that black skirts are now an acceptable part of the uniform. Finally, the girl who won Employee of the Year wasn't here, so our duty manager, Lewis, called her up on speakerphone and started berating her for not turning up, with the rest of us silently laughing behind our hands like the evil sods that we are. Then, after he revealed the deception and her award, and we were all done cheering and clapping for her, there was a silent moment before she said, "...I actually hate youse all." XDXDXDXD

Oh, and now that i've started reading Death Note, I've noticed that Lewis dresses and does his hair precisely like Light Yagami. He actually almost looks like he's cosplaying the guy, with the addition of an Argos namebadge. They could be twins if Lewis didn't have such a massive nose and eyes that probably have a soul behind them.

...plus there was cake. ♥

I finally got up the courage to tell my advisor that I don't think I can finish my thesis by the end of March and need to extend it into next semester. I've been having minor breakdowns about this for about a month.

It turns out he thought I was crazy for trying to do it in one semester anyway (but he's the one who told me to do it ), and he says they'll let me keep my graduate assistantship even though I'll be in the program two and a half years instead of just two. It was like...incredibly anti-climactic. I have nothing to be worried about anymore.

We had a test in math, I was able to answer all! It's pretty easy because the numbers have choices. But here's the funny thing. 45 minutes, I was able to answer all numbers except 11 & 13. I continued on solving but no answer came to my mind. 5 minutes later, I had enough so I screamed, "Ma'am, there's no answer in 11 & 13, can I right the correct answer?" Then everybody laughed. My teacher went to the blackboard and pointed to something. What she pointed are the corrections for 11 & 13. After that I was like, " WTH?"

First physical exam done and so far so good. Hearing was near perfect, vision was good with glasses, without notsomuch, colour vision was excellent, blood sugar levels were normal, blood pressure was low just as always. Although I am wondering if it hasn't decreased, I can't swear on these numbers, memory is bad after all, but I think I used to have 90/70 and now it was 90/60 (iirc). All I can do now is to wait for the doctor appointment next week. Then I will know if I get to continue.
