Just had a great celebration of the new year with Christian Though it was awkward
But it was fun ^__^ I'm glad I was invited, otherwise I would've been at home... By myself Just because I preferred that mom and her boyfriend could have fun with his family instead of both staying at home with me...
Anyway... It was the first time I've been celebrating with fireworks o.O

Great New Year's party at my friend's! Learned an awesome new drinking game and we turned "Auld Lang Syne" into a rave

And officially as of today, I am the only flute player in my Clave ensemble. Not that I disliked the other flutist, just that I prefer when I'm the only one, especially when we play the exact same thing. And.........she was better than me in improvisation, so I felt a bit downgraded in my solos.

Happy story: my roommate and I are talking about using our income taxes (not now, obviously; when we get them) to take a vacation. New York is our first choice, if we can find a good deal on a hotel and plane tickets. *hopes everything works out for that*
