Now it's like the 7th or 8th most popular.

I'll only be worried if it stops being on this top anime list. (thx animenewsnetwork)
At least it's still in the top 10 and I just couldn't see it going anyplace or ever getting out of the top 10.

Spoiler:
Like in America, Rugrats was the most popular cartoon on Nickelodeon, now this crap like Spongebob took over quickly
But Detective Conan to me is like the Japanese Scooby-Doo....it will never truely end as long as there are still millions of fans who knew it from the past overseas. Plus, it has a museum, a bridge, and a monument in a park over in Japan (I saw it lol) So it will be fairly popular for awhile. Why compare it now to ratings since six months ago? That wasn't too long ago.

But being too optimistic can make you blind to whats real. It may not last in popularity.
You know, I always compared Scooby Doo to stuff like Super Sentai and Gundam.  Both have been around for ages and doesn't seem to show any sign of ever "dying out".

I always loved that 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo series for some reason.

So we can all agree that Conan is hopefully not screwed, we also hope this case isn't a sign of things to come. (outside of the Okiya Subaru stuff which, you know...should be a sign of things to come  :P).

Besides, I think everyone here will enjoy the next plot related case for a specific reason.
