@Conia:

Mafia: The only place where you can find Gin and Akai married together with 8 kids all disguised as Akai. Or something epic like that.

The Great DCTP Lottery Debriefing
The Great DCTP Lottery has come to an end!
This lottery was, at its core, not just a forum-centric game of interactive suspense, but was a means of proving something beyond anyone's doubt.
The day the game began, I was already certain how it would turn out. Yes, it would be controversial here and there and that's understandable. Some expressed concern that the lottery would amount to nothing but users turning on one another at every turn. I knew better than that--I have spent an inordinate amount of time around a fair share of the users in this community and have only ever come to one conclusion: I consider myself fortunate to have met so many of you.
As I said in the message to those that participated in the Final Proposition: The lottery originally came to be because I insisted this community would stick together no matter what happened. Some people over the years have been cynical that this community is really a community that's any better than all the others out there. I've always disagreed and still do. Conan may be what has brought a great many people here, but, for most, it isn't the reason they come back day after day after day. The relationships and friends they have made along the way is what has made them from a community into a family (a rather dysfunctional family, but a family nonetheless).
People from all over the world are really the ones that make up what this forum represents. They now converse at enormous lengths not just about Conan, but about literally everything else imaginable (even killing each other!... in Mafia, and maybe otherwise in Parkur's case). To me, it's always been the one definitive example of a friendly and welcoming community to anyone and everyone that was willing to give it a chance.
This game, as hopefully can be seen now, was never meant to tear everyone apart but instead to bring them together. I do hope it was genuinely intriguing on some level and served as a suspenseful distraction for anyone that followed it over the past few weeks, and am also hopeful that the message delivered in the end not by just me, but by everyone else here, came through clearly. This community is something more than just a forum dedicated to Detective Conan, and if anyone ever doubted it, this is the evidence. While you many of us knew that this community would never turn its back on its fellow members, now... we have proof.
The support for one another demonstrated not just in the Final Proposition but throughout the game is the best gift I could think to arrange for everyone. Even if you feel like there's something you can't overcome in your daily lives, I am hopeful this lottery has convinced you that there will always be a place for you here.
All that's left to mention is that I have been asked a few times over the past few weeks whether there would be another lottery. My only reply is that I see no reason why there would need to be.
With this community, the result will always be the same.
Merry Christmas, everyone!

@ Jd-:
What had you done if
a) One of us had "broken" your rules and announce his her role (or vote on the Final Preposition)?
b) One of the votes had been "NO"?
