I also have the feeling that Shinichi is as Conan more "himself" around Ai then around Ran. he doesn´t put up a "wall" like he do with Ran, he seems more witty and sarcastic.
About Ai and a mystery... everything Shinichi knows about Ai true self (not about the BO) he need to find it out on his own. He didn´t get it for free like Rans confession, she didn´t told him almost anything about herself.
My personal problem about Ranichi is that it´s moast of the time Ranco.^^"
We know since Vol. 1 that both are in love with each other, but afterwards we only get to show why Ran is the "perfect" and "only" woman for Shinichi, it feeled more like a Bride-show than a growing love. Only my personaly opinion, guys.

french version is very different of the english and japanese version sometimes

i agree with you in a way !cause i love their relationship so much that i think even if they are not lovers they're just awesome together as very close friends !
it's so unique and touching that it could even surpasses love(you know,a very strong friendship between 2 persons can be as strong as love,if you see the serie SCRUBS you will know what i mean)

I don't know about that word you're looking for, but here's a close one maybe: they're like soulmates (even better than lovers). xD
pranks and jokes and etc ..... but i think Ran will find Shiho friendship with shinichi painful like in Live Action DC Movie 2 specificaly if they turned bak and still didnt destroy the BO cause they'll have conversations ran cant share with them, and also if she saw her wearing shinichi's caps

nope, because I haven't seen it yet. The 90% just came from the fact that I've come across Conan/Shiho before (not to be confused with Conan/Ai, or Shinichi/Shiho), and the general nature of the internet itself and all the weird stuff on it.
