Ah. The ones I've met do sound different to each other but I just attributed it to one having stayed in Aus for a very long time, whereas the other just arrived not that long before we met.

Ferguson also probably has less of an accent than he did before anyway, since he's started living in the US.
For the most part, Scottish people I've heard aren't *that* different from English, until you get near Glasgow, and then I'm all sorts of confused.
