I really, REALLY hope they get to the NY case.
I want to see how they're gonna mess it up.
What, later NY becomes Japan. And they're all speaking Japanese all of a sudden WOOT!
Then, when Jodie-sensei comes up, she'll put random Japanese words in English sentences. DOUBLE WOOT!
That would be funny but wouldn't make sense because not a lot of high school teachers teach Japanese. My bet is she becomes their French or Spanish teacher.
True....
Still! She'll be using random French/Spanish in English sentences! WOOT!

, they'll also have to make an excuse for being so long up in the air or just pretend their only up there for a short time.
And the changing of the Osaka landmarks is just pure funny, wonder how they are going to approach the episode Heiji's mom gets introduced and movie 7?
The Faces of Evil
Trying to start a club about magical ponies!
I think we have a good chance of getting season 6 but I am not sure if those will sell well enough to get a seventh season or another movie, or OVA. since over 20 releases of case closed are deciding if they want to dub another season. I am having doubts that one season set or possible two half season sets will be able to pay for a season 7 or a movie 7.

They aren't going to license a single season. They'll obviously do multiples at a time, or nothing at all.
I hope so but I am not sure they would, they do VERY few shows with multiple seasons. they didn't even do that with kenichi which has been a hit (and they thought it would be) and they only got one season at a time same with tsubasa.

Two Logical thoughts (so no chance)
First question is will they still be going to a BROADWAY show. if so it will still take place in NY
Otherwise they could be going to HOLLYWOOD filming / show in which case the episode will take place in LA.
Also curious why Canada and not maybe the BRITISH ISLES. "We are not amused"
The Queen's English would make in my option a better place to get any accent from.

If you're talking about Heiji, I think a big reason is that Canada is closer to America. Especially if you live in the northern United States, you often see Canadians visiting and touristing on holiday or the weekends. It's harder to explain why someone from Britain keeps coming over to visit.
Canadians and Americans have a lot of good-natured teasing about their differences in speaking, which is the same as how they keep gently knocking Heiji's accent and slang. Plus, the Canadian accent is not so drastically different from an American one, so in cases like the one with Heiji's mom it's a more subtle clue, instead of a "omg you're obviously British" one.
