... to be honest, Flora's never come off as that bright to me. I don't think she really gets it.

Also, ETERNAL DIVA AND INSPECTOR GROVSKY FTW! I love that guy's epic hair. Apparently he features heavily in the prequel games too, and Emmy, whom I love because she beats up wolves with other wolves.

The real bad guy is Descole and he's after the Ambrosia kingdom with his epic mecha castle and Janice is actually possessed by Melina.

Yeah that doesn't actually happen, but I wouldn't doubt if he did.

Did they switch Flora's voice actress for the US version?  She sounds...god-awful now, I don't remember her sounding this bad in the first and second games.

So...did all the residents of the fake future London just get off the hook? Were they all hired actors or something..? They had no problem living underground? 

Secondly, the whole Clive revealing...wtf?  We were supposed to know the background of Clive and not go "who in monkey hell is Clive?!"

Other notes - Professor Layton's girlfriend Claire is quite the siren.  3 dudes all over her!
-The ending with Luke leaving was sad   Poor him.

The Layton series so far continues the trend of setting up an epic mystery only to have the worst endings humanly possible now...still looking forward to the next one however.

As for Clive, I don't know when the cutscene is, but to me it was pretty apparent who Future Luke was once they showed the cutscene of Flora's death the first time with him as the orphan, though admittedly that was pretty late in the game anyway.

I know they changed Luke's accent between the UK and US accents, because the mockney accent he had in the US version was so godawful that UK test groups made it clear that nobody would ever play the game if it wasn't changed. I don't know about Flora.

As I understand it, most of them were relatives of the kidnapped scientists and builders, and were under the impression that they were living in the future... though some of them had been living there for some years anyway.

I don't think the endings are bad, personally, just bizarre. And the games leading up to them are generally brilliant

Despite co-developer Level 5's absence from TGS, we received today a titillating bit of paper from Capcom's booth on the show floor. It's an English-language press release for Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, and while details about the game are still sparse, the release contains some promising hints that all but confirm that the game will see a release outside of Japan. For one, it notes that "English names are TBD," which obviously suggests that there are plans to localize the game for English-speaking territories.

Furthermore, the English-language press release lists the title of the game as Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, which is the first time we've actually seen official documentation that refers to the title of the game using the franchises' English-language names. MSRP is also listed as TBD.

While we wait for a more official confirmation, let's gaze upon the first screenshots just released today.
