IF Detective Conan does receive an ending, I think it would be appropriate for those three to team up for it. I'm not a heavy fan of the Magic Kaito series but I believe

that his father was killed after refusing to find a gem for a Grey Organization which is probably liked to the Black Org.

so he is linked to the DC plot.

Kaito Kid, Heiji, and Conan/Shinichi teaming up for a confrantation with Gin would be awesome. Something that plays out that they believe they have him cornered(after the deduction part of course) only to find out he had a triumph card in the information he tricked/forced out of Vermouth and proceeds to throw Conan/Shinchi a phone. Then with an evil smile informs him he has exactly seven minutes to get the frequency being emitted by that phone to a specific location in the Beika area (which is being hidden by a riddle on the phone) which houses a bomb. This forces Conan/Shinichi to run towards Beika, Heiji behind, and Kaito trailing since he stopped to say something dramatic to Gin before he left.

The big finisher would be that half way there, Conan/Shinichi and Heiji have discovered that the riddle refers to two locations within Beika and that an "Angel" and a "Demon" are attached to each bomb, while a phone call from Gin to the phone at that exact moment reveals that only one can be deactivated with the phone *insert evil laugh and dramatic cliff hangar music here*
*cough* Got carried away here but it has to be an episode of this magnitude or higher for the dream team up.

From what I took from Young Kudo Shinichi's Adventure(ep.472-473) Yusaku eventually did figure out that the original Kaitou kid was Yukiko's disguise trainer but wanted to catch him as Kaitou Kid due to their rivalry and the same is happening with Shinichi and Kaito. Shinichi still doesn't know he's Kaito of course but did mention in one episode that he's going to focus on unmasking him before turning him in.

I have an even better idea. The BO finally managed to create a drug that can revive dead people, so they want to experiment with it. Somehow the experiment goes wrong and more people get infacted by this drug. Then, after a few episodes Detective Conan turns into a zombie horror series. Awesome! 

as long as they are actually zombies and not "the infected"
