I definitely don't think there was enough clues in this case to solve it - i.e. come up with the correct solution and exclude reasonable alternatives. I am pretty unhappy about that.

The most interesting thing in this file for me was the surprisingly detailed new officer. One off or to be recurring? The fact his face structure has a sort of similar build to Akai/scar Akai is making me slightly paranoid about his allegiance for no logical reason at all. I blame Dus.
Spoiler:
Yeah, he's probably Bourbon :P

It wasn't Anna, in the end, so Wofen's powers might be fading. I found the file to be a bit dissapointing, too. I was expecting something else non-case related happening (something beside a new cop showing up, who we don't even know if he's showing up again). I guess we have to do with Gosho (or Sonoko) helping us confim that what happened between Ran and Shinichi counts as an actual confession, and that both of them interpreted it like that (I wasn't sure, really).

speaking of that, Dus, how'd you get a script on your avatar to randomize the image?

Wow.....it actually makes me want to read even more now, even if there wasn't enough clues. ;D So was the culprit to be expected or not to be for you?

For me, I didn't try to guess at first. But now Im thinking about my answer....I'll say when I read it....but I'm thinking it's one of the males.

I was actually surprised at him as well, it made me sad because it seemed like he was doing Tome's job.

xDD maybe in the next file!! *still hopeful...*

I wasn't too disappointed with the solution actually. :D when the problem was first presented (as a body that is obviously dead, but legs that are moving) I did think of those magic tricks where a body is placed in a box and is sawed in two... the solution is simply, two different people! :D so I'm kinda glad that Gosho paid homage to such a classic trick. and I don't think it's an inconceivable solution either, I think we are all just too used to his overly complicated tricks of strings and paperclips and knots and whatnot, and we forgot the simpler solution.

I find the new police officer suspicious too. because I think he got more panels than Megure, and he doesn't even look like he should be in the police?? :x

The sad part is...I already figured it out before I read the end. But this was the first one I figured out before the end. ;D hmmm...I guess the simpler the trick the easier it is for me to solve it. But I liked the case too after reading the rest, though there wasn't enough evidence to solve the end.

It's natural to think beyond the box. Thinking inside the box just seems to simple.

And yes, maybe there will be gore in the next one. Remember the gore of the Mountain Villa Case and even the first episode? I'm looking for complete horror from Gosho next time. I'm tired of poisonings. lol

Yea, the new police officer is interesting. He does seem a bit out of place. I hope we learn more about him.

I wonder who the new officer was... there was a surprising amount of focus on him. HE'S BOURBON!I wonder what his story is.

Sadly, I think real gore is now definitely a no-no for this manga.  :-[
