How long have you been following this series?

Post by Scarlette »

I hope I set a record because I've been continuously watching DC for 10 years.

I remember watching the show when I was in 7 and in China. I would get so scared at night that I wouldn't go to sleep until my mom came back from work. But I still watched it even though the show scared the heck out of me!

Love it. I'll continue to follow it till the end.

I started reading the manga sometime in early '07, and began watching the anime somewhere between spring and summer of '07.
I have finally started to actually publish my story! For the moment, expect a new chapter each month.

The Case of the Midnight Channel
"When a strange letter summons the Mouri family to Inaba, Ran is expecting a case. She's not expecting it to involve the TV, though.
If Naoto investigated everyone who came to visit Inaba, she'd have little time for real cases. When Yukiko reports that the Midnight Channel is back, however, she starts to wonder if the visitors are connected. Especially when the image clears, unveiling yet another mystery."

Short version: I'm taking various DC/MK characters to Inaba (where Persona 4 takes place) and dropping them through the TV to face their Shadows!

I began watching this a few years back when it was aired on Adult Swim as Case Closed along with Lupin the 3rd and other great anime. Unfortunately, I do not know how long ago that was  :D

I can't say for sure when you started watching it, but Case Closed first aired on Adult Swim in 2004, which is when I started watching it placing me at 5 years. I remember that AS ran it in the dead slot of 12:30/1:00am and the only reason I saw it was because I couldn't sleep and just so happen to catch ""The Coded Map of the City Case". So here I am sleep deprived and thinking to myself "Why these kids out so late..don't they have parents?" and "Why is the kid with the hat so smart?!". ;D

I first saw it when I was 10/11... but that was for the first season only... I then saw the Case Closed anime aired in adult swim when I moved to the U.S.... I was about 13/14.... Now, I just reconnected with the show last May... I'm 18.

2007/2008.

Not a long time ago eh.

BUT! There are only... *counts* about 20 DC mangas in my school library, so I can finish them all next year. When I'm in Primary 6 (a.k.a. sixth grade).

Wait, that means September... OH what the heck. *caculates math in head*

Should be able to finish them by January. ;D

P.S. They're all Special Volumes except for Volume 15 (which was epic, btw) so it doesn't matter if I read them or-

WAIT I need to cuz I'm gonna GRADUATE after P.6 (a.k.a. sixth grade)!!! NOOOOO *grabs head*

i didn't liked the anime so i never watched a whole episode in tv ! :P

Started watching it five years ago, around the time it aired on Adult Swim; my first case was Episode 15 with the identical twin brothers.  I didn't take immense interest until 2005 after my friend gave me a copy of the first volume of the manga as a present.  I was glad to have the manga released here (and on the Linker simultaneously) since the show stopped airing.  Even when my interest in manga and anime began to fade, DC's one of the few series I feel very attached to. :)

10th April, 2002 on the German RTL2. I saw the very first episode and totaly fell for DC. From then on I watched the first 96, then more and since 2004 I regulary read the weekly chapters (or look at tha raws, since the translation wasn't that regular as it is now) and...yeah.
It's been a very nice 7 years. And can't wait for more. ^.^
