I often wonder why people use the word "hate" on fictional characters. Obviously, you can not like the characters (in the DB's case, I think Gosho wanted us to dislike them, or at least Genta), but the word "hate" is way too strong for a minor thing like that. Otherwise, like you can hate a fictional character, you can also love a fictional character, but that's...........not so normal.......

I kinda agree. But sometime you just hate it when a certain character appears. Or love it when he/she appears. So, you can use the word hate/love.

Come on guys, we are clearly out of the target age group for this series, especially the anime.  I don't expect it was intended that the actual Japanese kids who watch the anime would hate Genta or any of the DB.  After all if that was the case, who the heck would buy the DB hoodies, eh?

I'm not a big fan of either but I think I like Mitsuhiko just that little bit more. He's got the potential to be a good detective and he know a lot for his age.

Ayumi, though it's not a strong opinion. The anime has portrayed Mitsuhiko in an overly "oh look he's going to grow up to be as smart as Conan" way lately.
