I think that chapter said it was merely a plot device to get the London ball rolling.Dus wrote: •The strawberry from the very first page: Does it have any significance as a symbol?
According to Ran and Agasa, possibly a member of the royal family, a noble, or a friend of such a person. Other than that, ?Dus wrote:•Why did Diana Kingston make contact with Kogoro? Why was she in Japan in the first place?
•Who exactly IS Diana Kingston? What was the purpose of that meeting in the hotel?
Use/abuse of Christian symbolism and concepts for extra drama and to provide a foreign (to Japanese) flavor to the mystery?Dus wrote:•What was the reason for Hades to use a biblical name for his code?
Red herring or Gosho stinks at coming up with normal sounding English names so he tried to use a template?Dus wrote:•Why did all the main characters in this arc have names from Roman or Greek mythology?

Haibara wouldn't want Shinichi to get stuck in London. I assume Haibara did stay at Ayumi's as she is afraid of Okiya. If Haibara didn't stay at Ayumi's and it was important to the plot, Ayumi should have said something to alert the readers and avoid an arsepull. (warning TV tropes!)Dus wrote:•Ai seemed way too willing to give Conan the antidote. And did she really stay at Ayumi's?
Good questions. Many people want to know this. Unfortunately Gosho hasn't provided us with details.Dus wrote:•If she did, how did she learn that Yukiko was in Tokyo? Why did she choose her as a messenger?
Yukiko implied Yuusaku was in Japan too. As for why, that's another good question. Maybe they were on the run from publishers, and or Shinichi told them about Okiya staying over and they were staying elsewhere. I wish Gosho actually gave us some info about this scenario because the logistics could potentially be theoretically or plot important if we knew some of the details. The way it stands without any clarification, it's like Gosho wants us to overlook and ignore it.Dus wrote:•Was Yukiko the only one to come to Japan? Why was the strange young man staying at the Kudo's house not mentioned during the arc?
At first, Conan assumed Yuusaku was in London for Hades' case but that wasn't so. He started in Tokyo with Yukiko and then came to London because Haibara asked them to give Shinichi an antidote.Dus wrote:•Yusaku hasn't been in Tokyo for ages. So why was he in London and didn't even speak to his son?
Yukiko used the Tosa dialect to soften up a witness in 41-2. (Kagami is in Tosa.) She referencing this past case.Dus wrote: •Conan noticed that Yukiko was speaking in some dialect at some point. Why?
Maybe he did or maybe it was the first excuse he could come up with. As for the second part,Dus wrote: Did Okiya really make too much curry? Is his curry any good?

Haibara looks a little sketched out.
