DC is the only anime I trully cared about. I instantly recognized its amazingness even when I was 10. (That's why I'm so thankful for DCTP for bringing it to me)

I liked DC when I first saw it (I was 10), and I still liked it when I found it here (I'm 18). Unlike other anime that seem to only target a specific age group, I realized DC was a much more grown up series (that, or maybe I didn't grow up at all).

I agree with you! I think that even adults can watch DC, kids wouldn't understand that much actually.

Exactly! Some of the cases I watched when I was young (8 or 9) seemed complicated, but after re-watching them when I grew up, they seemed much easier.

The age range that Conan appeals to in Japan is 8-40. So yes, adults watch DC. Or at least they read it.

My friend lent Volume 61 to me today (KID's Teleportation Magic YAY!!) and when I was reading it a teacher walked up to me and I thought, "Oh HELL NO!!! I she see's this I'm dead oh no oh no oh nooo....." And when I was putting it away my teacher asked, "Is that Conan?" I blinked and said, "Y-yeah..." Then she went, "Ohh Conan, eh... Okay, I'll let you go just this once, but not next time, no way." I asked, "Why are you letting me go?!" And she said, "I love Conan, and if MY volume was taken away, I'd be heartbroken... Now put that away before anyone catches you reading it again, 'kay?" AND SHE JUST WALKED AWAY!!!!!

Aah, the MAGIC of DC. I love that teacher, hurrah!

That is amazing!!!! I wish DC would get more popular in the US. Unfortunately, most of the people I know think the only fictional Conan in existence (haha, fictional and in existence) is Conan the Barbarian. If only they could get the genius that is Aoyama Gosho.

Whoa. So I was under the age range back then. I started watching DC when I was 4.  But obviously, I don't understand a thing. I just love the action scenes! xD
And now that I grew up [and still growing], I began to understand the story more and focused on it more than the cool skateboard and soccer and action scenes at DC. 

Well, anyways, as for the 1000+ episodes thingy, I will never complain even if I still have to wait another 10+ years for the end of DC. I kinda hoped that DC will have a record on the Guiness for the "anime with the most episodes" or something like that~

Lol pokemon only has about 601 episodes (as referenced by latest episodes being subbed on Tokyo Tosho). So it's not very far ahead... But they're both still going so I doubt it'll change much.

And then there's Doraemon with 51 episodes and then a sequal with 617 episodes and still going. God some series are just too long lol but the more conan, the better! ...As long as they keep it fresh

i know doraemon has 1000+ episodes. i'm planning of collecting it but i doubted because of the number of episodes. wth. 600+ were released and 400+ were kept. thats what i've read on internet. idk if that was true
