Indeed, LOL.
Given an infinite universe and infinite time, all things will happen. That means that every event is inevitable, including those that are impossible.

The real moral of the story: Don't ever tell Xcomm it would be funny if he did something. (What would that have been, like, pulling a perpetual pofa? D:)

Nah, it was a borderline case. I didn't really think it was a spoiler, but I decided to go on the safe side.Soreiyu wrote:Sorry did not know it was a spoiler since it was not specific. ;_;Spoiler:

Re: 252 Rescue Case (753-755?): Vote for the solution!
Well, the file has been released now...
And there are a few things I was wondering about.
First: The children "trapped" in the building.
When the DB (excluding Conan) noticed the shutters were closed - why did they not just open a window? They look like the sliding ones, and even in case they could not be opened they could have just tried to break it. The sound might have attracted the kidnappers, but they were on their heels at that time anyway. Plus, it had the chance of attracting help from the outside...
Second about the plan of the kidnappers:
They wanted to set the building on fire, expecting that the smoke would kill the remaining DB somewhere in the building. But... what did they think they would set on fire?
The building was made of stone, the floor made of stone tiles. There was hardly any furniture left. So after the full they spread had burned down there was hardly anything left to catch on fire. And for sure nothing that would have burned fast enough to set the whole building on fire before witnesses would have noticed it and called 110.
Well, both are things that might be overseen in the heat of the moment (and the kidnappers certainly weren't smartest).

And why didn't they just text the police or anything?
We don't make mistakes. We have happy accidents.
