Eh not really. It's always the same thing; Kaito Kid sends a letter to this old guy and then he does some trick, but he always escapes somehow. Episode 356 was awesome but now it's just boring since it's always the same thing  .

I do believe the content is getting better as far as Kaitou Kid cases go. Last time it was 515 - Teleportation Magic when he managed to escape over a net that was like 20 meters high. Now he's gotta deal with a prison that's even closed on top of him.

kaito is just a minor character in dc... if gosho aoyama will make more developments in kaito's story, he'll just repeat it in mk (if ga will continue it)... kaito is just there to spicen up dc...

Well, I dont know why, but I think that Kaito will be very important in the final.. Because of Toichi,I think. Maybe the organisation which killed toichi is our BO?Or another Organisation which has something to do with the BO.. (I dont think so but..we never can know..)
But importat is that Kaitos Father Toichi is (or was!) a good friend of Vermouth..
