I was wondering: What is the actual aim of the Black Organization????

In the 1st episode they blackmailed someone
Sherry was forced to work for them
And in one chapter they had something to do with computers!!

Do you have an idea what they really want to reach?

I really don't have a clue because if they are just interested in money they could just continue blackmailing

I realized I should give you an honest answer.

I guess you could charactherize them(from what we know) in the same way that we think about any other old criminal organization. Murder, robbery, extortion, anything they can get/do to make money, and as JConan said, get powaaa!!!

Well if we agree that Sherry was developing some "eternal (or very long) life"-type drug...
Then, obviously, they trying to make themselves rich, powerfull and be sure that during their Life, they don't have any problem with anything.
I meant - look at Duncan Muclaud (or how was it spelling?) he's immortal! But even he has to deal with authorites. Fake documents, fake passports.

Well, they seem to be attempting a multitude of ways to obtain eternal life.  Makes sense, you wouldn't put that many eggs into one basket if you have to kill people to get there.

So far they have the drug, which is being used as a weapon until perfected.  They are trying to get computer programmers to likely attempt a "brain swap", so as to take someone else's life to prolong your own in their body.  They've also been shown in Magic Kaitou to be seeking "Pandora's Box", which is said to grant eternal youth to the one who opens it.

Obviously this costs money, hence their robberies, blackmail, etc.

I have a couple theories...  :P
1. They want cybersex, since they dropping to 8 years old - it's illegal =)
2. They want computer viruses, defences, censorship. Hiding fact that they're immortal. And being able to attack or defend.
3. They want their own OS. Like BO OS S =) OS-tan =)
4. They want new tetris. Biggest problem of eternal life - boredrom.
5. They want own CE. Just cuz it's part of Za Warudo.
6. They want legal money flow. Cuz every bad bands has it.
7. They want niiice database, cuz even immortality don't allways have perfect memory.
8. They want create "Virtual God" program. It's already exist, but not in Japan it seems.

Or non of the above.

I'm just saying that they good at chemistry, but not soo good about computers and technic. Not included bombs, and virus =)
Sure they didn't show us any mechanisms. Or programs. So i can't say that 100% it is.

As for eternal life, I guess they have succeeded, in some ways.

For one Vermouth's face isn't a mask, she really looks that young o_o;;.

For two, Ai's drug actually turned people into kids, something that's well...impossible.

I am most interested in that case involving the game system engineer where Conan finds the clue that quotes a BO member saying
"We can be both God and Devil since we are trying to raise the dead against the stream of time"
I am wondering if anyone has done any analysis on this to see if there are any strong references/parallels of any phrases of this (with relation to what we know of the BO) to any famous texts -- religious, sherlock holmes (since there are many already abound), literary classics -- I can't help but think of Goethe in the context of what we also know about APTX)

As said threw the episodes Ai said that she was working on a way to reive from deaf, and a posin that is undetectible that accedently turned out to make the cells in the victom to shrink instead of destroying. In the end of the Magna#19 They mention that the disk had "Night Baron" virius mentioned before in anouther episode. Since they do what ever they can to make viruses, drugs, and power, they have been on the watch and after list of the FBI as said in recent episodes. There quest is not completely been told, but from the clues we get, I have conlcuded this...
