no, shinichi will find a way. there's a half-formed theory in my mind that i can't understand yet, but i guess it'll involve heiji. or kaito, a better disguise-er. but kaito's real identity will have to be known to shinichi before that happens...

Well if both Ran and Ai die then the problem is solved. Shinichi can live out the rest of his life alone, since he cares more about cases than an actual relationship anyway.

most of dc fans likes shinichi to end up with ran (but i think it's not the case here)... if gosho aoyama will make ran die, many fans will get disappointed... gosho aoyama even said that he will not make dc's ending disappointing...

He said he'd not disappoint the DC fans in an interview. Or did I missread it?
really, considering the length of this series, and considering how happy this series is (only way I can think of to describe it) despite how someone dies in almost every episode, Ran and Shinichi being together is the only logical conclusion of this story.
I hope this topic stays alive for a loooong time, just so when they FINALLY get to the point where Ran finds out, I can be like "yeah! Shinichi should tell her again, in case she forgot. "
