i like conan more now.. i agree with the saying that shinichi is an arrogant jerk in ep 1.. but that he has really grown since he turned into conan.. i'm not sure if anyone agrees with me.. but i think shinichi would turn out like heiji if he didn't turn into conan.. at one point i actually disliked heiji because he was mostly looking down on other ppl and thinking that his deductions are always right(although they ARE mostly right..).. but i don't have that feeling anymore.. and that's not the issue here..
i would say that i am looking very forward to the day when Conan turns back into Shinichi and confess to Ran.. Ran will be very surprised that the Shinichi standing in front of her is so different than the Shinichi she knew back then..

i agree!!! Shinichi and Heiji were the same before Shinichi turned to Conan. But now, both of them changed!!! it's so awesome! i like their relationship

Yea, Shinichi is a new person. He views the world differently. I think that he even view Ran differently than he used to, which was more like a perverted thinking for just her body, to a different thinking....And he's also made more new friends so he's becoming a less selfish guy. Did anyone notice he didn't have many friends outside of Ran, and even that was strained because he liked her and never seemed to talk to her openly? When they were kids, she just followed him around the place, she reminded me of Ayumi. But he never seemed to have an FRIENDS. Even Ran has Sonoko as her best friend.
