Iirc, this was discussed for people who try to act on travelers while doing something else as well, because it gives out too much information about the target. So, a thought for later mini+normal mafia rounds

right, but a similar situation's happened before, where it was asked (I think by pofa in round 13) if vodka discombobulated a foreigner (which failed), if an attempt to kill someone that night would also fail.  Imo, they should both fail because otherwise, vodka would know the person is a foreigner, which I'm not sure should happen, but that's basically the same situation as here. But, up to the GM really to use whichever rules they prefer.
