Favorite Detective Conan Arc
Ahem. Like the question addresses, which of the mentioned arcs is your favorite?
Mine.. was definitely Dark Contact. 308 (was it?) - 311 was gripping, but 345 had me at the edge of the seat. One of the best episodes of the show, ever, hands down. Most or all of the important characters play a role, large or small, too.
So your opinions?

I'm going with Dark Contact as well, and agree with what you said. 345 is such a great watch for so many reasons.

Dark Contact because episode 345 was epic. Loved the whole Heiji dressed as Shinichi stuff. Plus the music at the end was good.

Re: Favorite Detective Conan Arc
I picked Clash of Red and Black, just because this is a whole huge intertwining story..
If you asked me my favorite EP ever? 345. There is no question. Besides the fact that I'm a total moron and I actually really thought that Haibara was Haibara and Shinichi was Shinichi.. It's just one of the best episodes ever.. so funny you don't even know that Jodie's FBI at that point.. I'm gonna go watch it now.
Boom chikka chikka boom boom.... boom chikka chikka boom boom.. huh! UH! Great song!

I choose none of the above. I think the one who made this topic is forgetting the best of all. The Desperate Revival Arc. By far my favorite. Even tho 345 is great (I still prefer 304) it just doesn't beat the Desperate Revival. I'd have to say I liked the rotten apple , i.e., Vermouth Arc, 2nd.

@Kaitoukidsama: Sorry... I was only going for the arcs that kaizou/DCTP fansubbed by...
Though I do agree that Desperate Revival was very nice, as well.
But 345 had me officially completely addicted to this Anime. After 345 I started reading the manga to fill in the gaps of the story line the fansubbed episodes were missing.

Out of the choices here, I had to pick Dark Contact (Can't beat 345) but the one that first came to my mind when I saw the topic was the Desperate Revival arc.

Re: Favorite Detective Conan Arc
I second that. 345 was simply amazing, but Desperate Revival was one of the best, particularly among those earlier episodes which lacked such gripping 'arcs'. Besides, Desperate Revival was a kind of foundation for the other arcs, since it is when we are actually dropped a subtle hint about Jodie for the first time.jmaeshawn wrote: Best plotline ever. 8)
Plus with all the pictures and everything, it set up great suspense for 345, too.

Re: Favorite Detective Conan Arc
I went with Character Development. While Dark Contact's first 5 episodes, and especially 345 were amazing, alot of the other cases were kinda lame (originally I thought it was because I saw 345 before most of them, but 4 Porsches was fun so I still think they were mediocre cases (especially 329/330 and 340/341 )).
Of course, it was still tough. However, Character Development arc is just awesome and although doesn't have anything as amazing as 345, it does have that Mysterious Passenger case. Also, Heiji speaking English, "PORICE", and the fact that all of the cases were fun.
imo,
Character Development > Dark Contact > Clash of Red and Black > Rotten Apple = Vital Prospect > Deep Suspicion

I have to say Dark Contact, I really love the episodes involving the B.O, and of course, because of episode 345.
