whyin english it's called detective conan and not detectiv conan????

because "detective" is the correct English word, "detectiv" is german. Strange question if you ask me. $:-\$

Nope, "detektiv" is German.

It is detective, because it is build up from detect and -ive. -Ive is a latin suffix.

Btw. it is detective in Spanish as well. o.O
