@mangaluva: having dealt with very similar customers before, I feel your pain. People like that are the worst. They make you feel like you're the worst employee ever even when you're doing everything you can to help them and stay calm. Personally, I think they do it just to see how far they can push you and how much they can get away with. (And that would be one of the biggest reasons I <3 my supervisors. They don't let customers treat us that way if they're around to stop it. Yes they want to help the customers too, but we come first in their priorities of who to look out for. )

Awesome supervisors like that are great, but I'm lucky it was the woman who was my supervisor today. Our other supervisor is this guy who is HORRIBLE to us. He's yelled at my coworkers in front of customers, and he would have said it was all my fault, and THAT would have sent me into full-fledged breakdown.

Remember to be nice to your servers in shops, everybody. They're doing their best for you
