Is Conan too noisy for his own good?

Post by VideoFan9864 »

I just had to put up this topic after seeing episodes 528 and 529 (Thanks DCTP I love it ;D). Anyways conan is really too noisy in my opinion. I mean he never lets anyone solve the case on their own. In these episodes Eri did almost all the deductions but conan just had to put his nose on the evidence.

I can also name many of the other instances
Episodes 27-28: Kogoro's Class Reunion: Conan hinted the evidence

Episodes 144-145 The North Star No.3 Express Leaving Ueno
His dad did the work yet he still pointed the evidence

Episodes 343-344- Convenience Store Trap
Ran did the deduction but conan still interfered

The only episode I know that he hadn't interfered is Heiji's Stand Alone Case. other than that nothing else. What do you guys think?

I think you mean to say that you think Conan is "nosey". "Noisy" is loud.

Kogoro's Class Reunion: Conan pointed out the hints, because there was no way Kogoro would spot them on his own in time to actually piece together the correct answer.

North Star No. 3 Express Leaving Ueno: He had no idea that Yuusaku was also on the case until after he talked to Yukiko, and even then, Yuusaku was on another train.

Convenience Store Trap: He didn't interfere. Shinichi gave the one bit of information that Ran doesn't have the background to figure out for herself.

It's Conan's show, he's supposed to be the coolest and do all the deductions and stuff. That's the gift of the title character. The curse of the title character is that he also always gets into the most trouble. It keeps things interesting. He has to get into and then out of all kinds of trouble.

I really don't mean to sound condecending. I just get very nitpicky about this sort of thing.... And you confused me with the "noisy" part.....
I have finally started to actually publish my story! For the moment, expect a new chapter each month.

The Case of the Midnight Channel
"When a strange letter summons the Mouri family to Inaba, Ran is expecting a case. She's not expecting it to involve the TV, though.
If Naoto investigated everyone who came to visit Inaba, she'd have little time for real cases. When Yukiko reports that the Midnight Channel is back, however, she starts to wonder if the visitors are connected. Especially when the image clears, unveiling yet another mystery."

Short version: I'm taking various DC/MK characters to Inaba (where Persona 4 takes place) and dropping them through the TV to face their Shadows!

Actually Conan is too nosy and noisy, both works ^^.

Shinichi got turned into Conan because he was too nosy (let's go follow those men in black into a dark alley way, etc).

But I guess the point is that if left to someone competent, someone other then Conan could have figured out the case (just taken longer).  I don't think so, other people tend to miss one or two points Conan always has to go "Are-re look at this!" to complete the deduction.
Hey, I have an idea, let's have a THIS SUCKS / NO THIS SUCKS / NO YOU / NO YOU argument for a couple pages, that will really be great. - Ingmar

Yes precisely right. Nosy and Noisy thing. I thought of the noisy thing since when someone talks their deduction he does tend to do the ale-le part which is annoying.  But seriously I would love to see a case where the other characters does all the deductions and the evidence without any help or advice from conan. Maybe they can make a black organization episode where there are 3 separate members doing a murder in 3 different places. That way Heiji, Ai and the FBI does the deductions too.

I don't think the "ale-le part" is annoying. For me, it's cute, and fun to copy.  :D

Oh gawd, my roomate (who's also my lab partner) thinks the same thing:

-Me and partner in 3 hour lab-

Me:  Okay now we just add a drop of this, connect, and record the observations.

Her:  Are-re~

Me:  *sigh* WHAT?

Her:  -in cutesy Conan voice- I think the colour is wrong Kirite-chan!

And the lab was three hours, THREE HOURS.  I should have never EVER introduced her to Conan xD.  Luckily most labs are simple but. gawd.

i think Conan's nosiness and noisiness is cute ^^
but hey, he has to think of something to make them realize the important clues and evidences he noticed that they didn't  :P

doing Conan's "a-re-re" all of a sudden would seem weird around people

of course, for us (Filipinos, i guess  ;D), "oi oi" is normal since it has the same use as them (Conan) ^^
