Well it smells horrible, and feels slimy when it's in your mouth but other than that it's pretty good. Oh, and the aftertaste is pretty bad too.Eve wrote: That reminds me of something, I totally love this fruit called Durian XD and it's really expensive and everything, but apparently, US natives find it repulsive XD LOL

We're talking about durians now?
They're tasty though I haven't had one since a long time ago.

Sadly, that piece of information seems to be lacking in the English Wikipedia. I wonder if you can even purchase them anywhere in Germany, I have never seen any.

Same here, I didn't see any either.Dus wrote: Sadly, that piece of information seems to be lacking in the English Wikipedia. I wonder if you can even purchase them anywhere in Germany, I have never seen any.
And it's strange that the german wiki has such trivia there but the english one has more other stuff about the fruit D:

From what I've gathered though, westerners tend to hate the fruits D:Dus wrote: Sadly, that piece of information seems to be lacking in the English Wikipedia. I wonder if you can even purchase them anywhere in Germany, I have never seen any.

people tend to be crazily strict on the english wikipedia, the morningstar comment probably wasn't allowed due to lack of citation. :VKleene Onigiri wrote:Same here, I didn't see any either.Dus wrote: Sadly, that piece of information seems to be lacking in the English Wikipedia. as for durians, yeah, pretty much what Abs said. The taste isn't all that bad, but when I smell it and feel the texture in my mouth, my brain just goes "oh god... and you're saying this is a fruit? WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS FRUIT"

Actually, they are even more strict on the German one. For example, there are some entries whose German equivalent got deleted because it wasn't considered a topic worth an entry. This probably simply remained unnoticed...Akonyl wrote:people tend to be crazily strict on the english wikipedia, the morningstar comment probably wasn't allowed due to lack of citation. :VKleene Onigiri wrote:Same here, I didn't see any either.Dus wrote: Sadly, that piece of information seems to be lacking in the English Wikipedia. that's something that happens on the english wiki as well, so I dunno if that's really being more strict. Though, it probably did just slip by.Callid wrote:Actually, they are even more strict on the German one.
