Anyway, these are the characters I want to see again in the new AA:I game:
- Franziska (of course, edgy's whip-lovin' sister should be there)
- Larry Butz (can't get enough of this guy)
- Ema Skye (i don't know...i just enjoy seeing her stalk edgeworth)
- Klavier Gavin ( i want to see edgy give this guy some lesson. Lesson on how to be a proper rival - not giving your case to the opponent ALL the effin' time)
- and of course, the adorable Gumshoe

I also enjoy playing as Phoenix, but I don't want Phoenix in this 2nd AA:I. He can steal Apollo's limelight if he wants to, but not Edgy's. no siree

I just want to point out something i don't like from the new trailer. That is there is no Franzy in the new trailer. -_-

She was shown in the trailer of the first AAI game, and she turned out to be involved in the main case. I guess she won't have major role in the main case of this game...awww. I wish she would at least have a short cameo.

I hope Shelly escapes. He's too awesome to get locked up. Also the cast is obviously fake and he will be using to hiding something. Maybe Shelly's "taking mental damage!" pose involves his monocle popping out. I wonder if we will finally get an explanation for the vertical stitches down Shelly's face this time?

and I doubt shelly will get arrested, for all we know he's just another "witness" again. Besides, as weird as it may sound, he's a gentleman assassin, I can't imagine him having a defeat pose. So, I can't really imagine him being the culprit you pin down in the end.

As for the stitches, that would be interesting, but I'm doubting that unless he's a multi-case character. Which would be all kinds of awesome.

Most witnesses have a "You got me! wince pose" at the very least, so Shelly will probably will have one. A lot of the witnesses in AAI 1 who were hiding something serious also had a "breakdown/defeated" pose as well, so there are two chances for Shelly to do something silly. Since the first case is a murder, and Shelly's at the scene, the likelihood he did it is pretty high without any further info.

... However, it would be awesome if Shelly didn't do it, and Edgeworth figured out who Shelly was and couldn't do a damn thing about it. Better yet, someone used Shelly's name to commit the murder, which offends Shelly's gentleman assassin sensibilities, so he teams up with Edgy to nail the person who used him. Shelly de Killer as a companion for Edgeworth. The dialogue, it would be amazing.

oh, I have no problem with saying that he'll have a wince pose, because as you said most witnesses have them (and shelly's radio even had one in PW2). As for the witnesses having a breakdown pose, then you could be right on that but there's usually a difference between the defeat poses of a witness and a villain (Zinc Lablanc's animation vs Alba's, for example)

And because you seem to know more about this than me, this is a shot from the first case, then? Because if that's the case (pun intended), then whether or not he's the killer, he's likely to show up later on as well, if AA1's Case 1 would be any indication, so we might get more Shelly backstory after all.

If Shelly was his new sidekick though, I wonder if he'd have a gimmick like Kay's Little Thief. Gogo murder scene recreation!
