Well, Gosho enjoys keeping such ambiguity for some time before making a step forward. He maintains suspicions and cliffhangers to keep the readers/audiences remain attached to DC.

i really dont think the okuya is bourbon.. i dont know why but i think that okuya is akai

Of course, Akai is still alive (don't know how could it be...) - if he'll die, it would be a very last battle with BO or something... Also, he still must meet Haibara.
And Okuya could be... a Shinichi's parents' spy! I know Agasa is all right - but in danger could he do anything?

That's a good point. Gosho left that whole Haibara-wanting-to-meet-Akai subplot unresolved. Since I think Akai's still alive and living at Baker st. right now, I do believe that their meeting will occur at some point. If Akai is dead though that subplot has been damned to awkward limbo for the rest of the series' run.

I think we may be overspeculating this.

I have a feeling that Okiya may not be Bourbon. I'm hoping it's Akai in disguise, but I don't think Aoyama-sensei will disguise Akai that way (I could be wrong). Besides, I don't think we know enough of Akai's personality to come up with a really good theory.

oh cmon guys.. don't u think it would be way too easy.. i mean if the DC creators, can come up with such fascinating cases and episodes, then i don't think they would make this thing so obvious.

He is not Bourbon, im sure of this thing! It's way too easy.. though i think he will be a important part of the upcoming episodes!

I think that Aoyama-sensei has thrown so many twists at us that I am now just skeptical of every theory, no matter how plausible.

It would be interesting.. So what if he were.. conan goes, pwns his ass bllablla.. that would screw up the series

i disagree, when okiya was in the professor house, she also felt his presence, so it has already been confirmed

i don't think so. the didn't feel the"pressure" when okiya was in the professor house.she was just hidding cause she suspect him during the fire case,but she wasn't sure it was really okiya the responsible of that "smell"!

then,in the ikkaku rock case,she felt the pressure when okiya tried to save ayumi,that's why she said"it's him" .it's in this moment she was sure he has contact with BO!

Whoa there. You used a key word: "contact". What if Okiya isn't evil, but still part of the BO? What if he's just being forced to do bad things for the Org? All the possibilities..
