1.  I'd hope they'd use ENGLISH English speakers, or that the Americans chosen could do a good job with the English accent
2.  Some of those ENGLISH English speakers would have to know Japanese (Apollo, Minerva at the very least)
Just like during that one case where the culprit is Conan's idol, right?

Honestly speaking, the New York arc was way cooler than London arc.

Totally agree. How can it be possible that in ONE file there's so little action?? Looks like Gosho wants to make the longest case EVER.

Could somebody tell me who come everybody let Conan to go to court and protect Minerva so easily?? He's just a child, dammit!! It's NO explanation that Kogoro is too famous and can be recognized by Hades!! Mouris know that Conan is smart and has good ideas, but how they can expect that he will be able to protect Minerva and catch the culprit?! Normally they would send Agasa or Ran there and be with him/her in contact by phone. Idiotic...

Spoiler:
I'm guessing they all know he's Shinichi by now. :P Ran seems to be on to him (again). Kogoro has known it for ages and Agasa was the first to know the secret anyway.

"Shouldn't I be the one to go in?"
"No, dammit, I'm the main character here!"  :D

Don't know how it is at Wimbledon but I would have thought the tickets for child and adult admission would be different, and that excuse the one used.

And that's what we call a GOOD explanation. ^_^

You can't have action in every file, this isn't a ninja or pirate manga. Besides, Gosho's not the only one who decides.
Spoiler:
The same reason which explains why they let Conan come near the bodies in almost every single case. Kogoro is farely well known in Japan (in the Kanto region at least) but he usually needs to mention that he's actually Sleeping Kogoro, otherwise the characters don't automatically notice it. Thus there's no way Hades Subara who's in Britain would know about Kogoro. Maybe because they've seen him protect potential victims and help catch culprits in the past cases ?
Spoiler:
Sheesh, people are usually complaining because cases are too classic (3 files, 3 suspects, 1 culprit) and now that we get a huge case which changes the formula a bit, people keep complaining because it's too long, there's not enough action, there's no Black Organisation, no Shiho, no ShinRan blablabla. How about reading something else then.  :o

I don't think you understood what redpoppy meant by "action". I think redpoppy refers to the fact that not much happened in this file,
It's funny since in the first file of this case, everything was rushed for no apparent reason, and here, Gosho does the opposite thing and paces slowler than usual.

Well, something doesn't have to happen in every file, that doesn't make it worthless or idiotic. I agree that the case was rushed in the beginning, that's why I'm glad the pace has slowed down a bit.

Maybe Gosho slowed the pace down because he noticed in planning the next few files that if too much happened in this chapter, then the next chapters would have had the narrative broken awkwardly. The option is to either cram or slow down, so Gosho went with slow down.

Yep, that's what I meant! ^_^ I think in file 749 could happen a lot more than...
Spoiler:
just going to the court and screaming to Minerva that he (Conan) is Holmes' apprentice.
COME ON!! I don't need gun shots, blood and broken bones in every file, but the speed of plot (is it better word than action??) is now too slow. Even solving Hades' riddle in 5 files is too much in my opinion. At the beginning I was excited about mass murder, right now I find it as boring as classic Detective Boys cases. If there hadn't been something about ShinRan, I wouldn't have been interested in that case at all. Another thing which makes me mad is that probably Gosho's keeping in secret (I mean "chase scene") something which at the end won't be actually any development in ShinRan's relationship. :-/ I want to be optimistic, but after every next file I have more and more doubts...

What we got is a similar case to the Baskerville-Hound-case with Heiji, a long-case, which is somewhat interesting.
I like the way how London and some of its buildings are shown, it makes my view about them a bit different and I guess I'll learn a few Sherlock quotes as well, which I think is a very good thing.
Shinichi was back, if only for a short time, which is cool too, he looks great. <3

However, the story until now does not seem to well structured, it almost gives a "random story I came up with" feeling, which is definitely not good.

Yet, I guess we can't judge this story well enough until it ends, that's why I hope, that the ending will be satisfying in most ways. Especially the ShinxRan thing.

I hope people have a basic understanding of the rules of tennis.
Spoiler:
A "let" is when the ball touches the net on the serve, but still lands in the appropriate area on the opponent's side of the court.  However, it is not a playable serve, and so the server must serve again as if it never happened.

On service, a "fault" is when the ball does not land in the appropriate area on the opponent's side of the court.  This could be because it landed somewhere else, or went into the net, etc.

Servers are allowed one service fault without penalty...  If the serve faults again, it is a "double fault" and the point goes to the opponent.  However, the server serves again.

To avoid a double fault, players often try a less risky (and therefore "easy") serve after faulting - however this usually gives an advantage to their opponent.

Even if 749 had less action than the previous ones, I liked it a lot. That is all.
