this OVA looks like a bad fanfiction

Said this before, and I'll say it again... That is EVERY OVA I have seen. Looks like they are getting their ideas from Fanfiction.net.

I think I have said this before but, I hate most fanfiction. So for me to say a BAD fanfiction should mean to most people a HORRIBLE fanfiction written by a fangirl (except no one seems to randomly be homosexual).

I saw those pics in a YT video yesterday (or was it the day before?), I can't wait to watch this OVA; somehow it seems pretty entertaining. And yes, Conan does look like that guy from Chotto Mattete. xD

Okay, I doubt that Conan forgot that he's Shinichi. He's probably just surprised that he's in the future and is seventeen. Supposedly.

It would be because she doesn't want Conan to risk drawing the Org's attention again and getting everyone important to her killed (and possibly because she knows a permanent cure is impossible apart from growing up again). When she refuses to "run away", that's about keeping her friends, not facing the Org. She hasn't wanted to face the Org. since she recovered the drug data via Pisco's mobile. (Yes, she lied about losing that. It's on the bloodstained disk we see on the computer desk (even in the anime, though the disk's color changed) just after Ran first tried to say hello to Haibara.)

As I wrote, she probably has no idea that Shin'ichi asked Ran to wait for a promised return. She'd think instead that it would help him vanish from Ran's heart like he once claimed he wanted. Ran being trapped in an unfulfilled life by his promise would be a tragedy of ignorance, not of malice or insensitivity (though I'm still not letting them off the hook for tricking Ran in volume 26).

Of course, in a way she'd be murdering Shin'ichi. She'd probably never do that unless she were confident that he was close to getting himself, and their friends, killed anyway. I do think she's still practical minded enough to weigh that trade-off, rather than simply dismiss the idea of induced amnesia as immoral.

That would be a lame ending for the whole series, but that would only be if it actually ends there, rather than continues with a teenage Conan, who could eventually recover his memory or discover the Org. again.

The title is "The stranger in 10 years...".
So, I think that we will see Conan and company working on a case when they are 10 years older...
And that the case is only a dream.
