Well, considering the possibilities for this story:
1) He could've told her, but wears the glasses anyway.  They do have nifty functions, afterall.
2) This is one of the DB's dreams, so they wouldn't think about such an oddity.  In fact, if this is the case we could very well have a Conan and Shinichi interaction, since the DB think they're different people.
3) This is the first time Ran will have seen Conan in 8-9 years, since she was only a year or so away from graduating high school and going to college.

Said this before, and I'll say it again... That is EVERY OVA I have seen. Looks like they are getting their ideas from Fanfiction.net. But at least they are usually fun.

Those images make it seem like Conan is on an acid trip XD. A pill caused all of this! Man... hopefully this will teach Shinichi to LAY OFF THE DRUGS! They nearly killed him the first time (APTX4869)... And Haibara tells him every time the antidote may kill him.... Hopefully this nightmarish (or what I assume to be nightmarish) episode will teach him a lesson!

Well, when you see the website, it's obviously a dream.

I think these are the possibilities, most likely to least;

A. The whole thing is a dream, including taking the supposed APTX cure.
B. A failed APTX cure caused him to hallucinate/dream that he forgot his life as Shin'ichi.
C. Haibara gave Conan a drug under false pretenses to make him forget about the Org. (and his love for Ran), and there's a time skip (with a narrative flow that starts with the "cure" perhaps explained by Conan having some resurgent memory of his life before taking the brainwashing drug).
D. A successful APTX cure caused him to hallucinate/dream that he forgot his life as Shin'ichi.

You know, I don't actually mind C. too much. Yes, it sucks for Ran, but Shin'ichi never told Haibara that he asked Ran to wait for him. The impression he gave Haibara after the first prototype cure was that he didn't get a chance to say anything to Ran. It's not like him willfully stringing Ran along for 10 years, or stupidly and inexplicably forgetting the promise he made to her, or Haibara knowingly causing Ran to suffer.

Bah..the OVA I really liked was the first one, and that's because it was based off a chapter of Magic Kaito.

Oh and the baby Shinichi one if that counts as an OVA : D.

Well looks like Conan is sick...yet again.
