Does anybody else here write fanfic, and if they do, how ANNOYING is it when a character that you never intended to use keeps strolling into your fic and going "Actually, I'm really important. You need me in this scene. And that one. And actually, I'm the one most likely to have the Chekhov's Gun you're going to need later." Silver keeps doing that to me, making him an even more annoying rival than Blue Oak now.
