Wine isn't the answer to my riddle, if that is the riddle your were answering.  I have posted hints to mine. 

That makes me think of this:

I come in green, red, and orange.
I speciate into two distinct classes.
I can be rolled in many Spanish/Latin American dishes.
In English, don't mistake my existence for yours.
In Somalia, I'm the latest cliche. (can't be bothered to put the accent on)

Well, enough time has passed, that in case anyone gave my riddle a try,  I thought I would post the answer.

I originally meant to say that conan fans among you have seen me recently, because anyone here is a conan fan and recently has the letter r in it.  But the letter r does appear in (i'll go out on a limb here) every conan episode

Because, it makes you focus on things that have appeared in DC.  Everyone has seen 'r' recently.

Asian countries have their own written symbols of language.  While 'r' is used, it isn't used as much as in places that don't rely entirely upon this alphabet.

The reason I said this should do it is because fans of fansubs are in a category more likely to know about the different writing systems of Japan.  Kanji comes from China.  Hiragana and Katakana come from Japan.  Romanji comes from "Roman"ji, ie. Rome, ie. Italy.
