better couple

hehe,, it has 500+ episodes and yet there's no development in shinichi's love life, so, i would just like to ask you which of the two partners would a better couple for the ending?.. considering, from what we've seen, conan and ai, have more scenes together that ai is starting to like conan, and he doesn't notice it yet or shinchi and ran who has no development at all (i mean personal development, who could survive years of waiting???, only through phone calls, few accidental meetups.. etc..) ? i hope you choose and leave some comments:D

maybe i would start with, shinichi and ai:) they would be a perfect couple, considering all the adventures, all the togetherness:D

I think you are just dreaming about Ai/Shin , he doesn't love her she's just a friend like Genta,Mistsuhiko and Ayumi!! he's also to pitiful for her because she lost her family and is targeted by the BO so he's is trying to protect her like he will do for everyone!! but his love for Ran is known,right? He even didn't stop thinking about her in ep 304 wen the bomb was about to blow and said to Takagi then:(The most important person in the world to me is there and I won't let her die) so she's his most important person=Lover!! don't you see also wen he gets jealous wen other people approach her like ep(6-39-170..)and in ep 266 wen he accepted her chocolate or wen he's always rescuing her from danger or teying to defend Shinichi so she still stay loving him!! I don't know if you saw the chapter wen he said to Haibara and Agasa(after the bloody Valentine I think) : I didnt tell her anything , she must had want to see me,all this time i was breaking her heart by letting her wait,Imust no show myself in front of her again, even if it means i'm no longer still in her heart but I can never let her cry again,how immature of me right?!!!! Also I dont no why you people hate Ran I mean she's pretty,strong,Sensible,Kind hearted and courageous!! She's my favourite female character!!!

Okay, maybe some of us are daydreaming about a Conan X Ai ending but what can you do about it? And, it's not 100.00% that Gosho would put a Shinran ending is it? I think Conan maybe not like Ai the same as he likes Ran but to Conan, Ai is definitely more than a friend to him since (episode 230-231) where he saved her from the bus bombing even when there was like only a few seconds left and about how he worries about her whenever the BO is invovled.
And, I don't really hate Ran but she really irritates me with all that crying (not what you would call 'strong') about when Shinichi is coming back.

I love Shiho, I love Ran, but Ran and Shinichi is the 'better' couple. But that depends on what your idea of better is. Shinichi and Ran is cannon and will most likly be the pairing Gosho goes with in the end. That said Shinichi and Ai have been through stuff together! (So have Ran and shin) but I mean with the BO and being shrunk into kids! That's heavy! Personally I am a Ran/Shin suporter, but Ai/Shin is kinda cool. Really as long as Gosho doesn't mess with Satou and Takagi its all cool!

for me it's ai and conan!!!all the way!it's not that shinran is not good,but i find it a little bit repetitive !it 's always the same thing between them after more than 698 files!!!moreover,i think it's a given couple(childhood friend who love each other secretly... )ran said that she love shinichi from the begining(the vol1 or 2)so i find it not really interesting(i think i prefer when 2 persons encouter in very unexpected circumstances and become more and more closer with adventures they share ,until become real lovers,it's more realistic and romantic for me)with shinran,i have the feeling that they love each other  in the first sight when they are children,and they love the same way from the begining until the end of the manga!!since i'm a fan of dc since i was 13 years(now i'm 19)i really saw how the manga evoluated and shinran has becomed boring to me !it's just my opinion,i'm your friend lol please don't kill me!

well i can understand the aixcon fans, they want to see another love a different love.
I can understand this. Sometimes I think that the ending will be AixCon or ShinxShiho and Ran would die(because I never can imagine shinichi saying ran"sorry i love ai,thanks for waiting, bye". (I WOULD KILL HIM LOL XD).
But after I heard the new opening 25 "Everlasting luv" i became sure that the ending will be ShinxRan because when you look at the lyrics:

"Even though you are so close to me , my feelings arent reaching you (its clear that shinxran are meant)
I cannot rewind the hands of time.
So that we dont forget those sights we saw together (Ran & Shinichi in New York)
We piece together the puzzle of our memories. (In the OP we can see a puzzle wich a picture of Ran)
But the shape being reflected in your clear eyes is no longer the me from those days. (Here we can see again Ran and Conan.)
Everlasting Love.In a world that goes around like a labyrinth. (We can see Conan running and searching Ran,who is in the background.)

i know that all the op and ending are centered on shinran i won't say the contrary!!!the topic is just about which is the better couple,and for me it's coai!but i know from the beginig that it'll end shinran!!in a way i t would be weird for me to see a scene where conan said to ran that he loves ai,too sad for ran who wait for him!but at least i would have a sort of open ending(so that everybody will chose the end they want)or having ai going to the same highscool with ran and shinichi(to let a hope for shiho and shinichi after the end of the manga)! of course conan will declare his love for ran!but i also think that ai has to make part of shinichi's life!peace

Since finding out who got more fans would need a World Wide survey, that would cost too much money and time...
or, unless he was planning to conclude with just survey on Japan.. That would be a fatal mistake, since i would fly straight away to japan, and make Gosho eat my survey paper

I honestly don't know what to think. All I know is that ShinRan is pretty much set in stone, as it is for every other archetypal romance.

I still think that although CoAi is near impossible, it IS the second best couple. (first couple: SatouXTagaki ) So... Gosho-sensei will work it out somehow, so that ShinRanAi can become reality!
