Problem is, Akai likes the alcoholic drink Bourbon too, and there's a possibility Gosho makes the FBI members drink the beverage which name is the same as the BO member they're after (to indicate they're thinking and reflecting about who he/she could be or where he/she hides him-/herself).

AO just go on popular DC websites and create the plot based on what is least expected, like in this case i think its that "Okiya is Bourbon"... that would be soo evil.

Allow me to make something clear to those of you that are Anime only people... The anime is usually not written by Gosho Aoyama, the creator of Detective Conan. Therefore, not everything in the anime is canon. Which means, seeing Okiya with the word "Bourbon" in the background is not proof of his identity. Why would Gosho, while making it so only theories could be produced about his new characters, put in the opening sequence of the anime the true identity. It makes no sense what so ever. Those of you who took that as proof are misguided fools who think the anime follows the manga 100%.

Feel free to make conjecture pertaining to Okiya's and Bourbon's true identities, but please don't use the anime opening sequence as mode of proof. That is like finding a toy gun on the scene of a murder and claiming it to be the murder weapon. It looks like the murder weapon, but can't possibly be.

I claimed nothing of the sort! It was either this or allow Jd- to chose an icon for me. And Kaitou Kid is awesome, and I prefer not to be embarrassed...

Maybe he secretly reads the DC fanfiction and will use some of the better parts in future episodes...

...but I think he already has the main plot figured out. It's kind of hard to do a series like this without planning--you work yourself into a corner REALLY fast.

I think that you trying too hard to connect Okyia and Bourbon. I don't that this is the case.
You do remeber that Sherry didn't stormed away from Okyia when he held her (she looks like a doll in that picture XD) she just realised something. She confirmed her suspicion, but since she didn't shared, probably it's not something dangerous. However if it is... Then Sherry is trying to do exact the same thing as Conan did awhile back. She's going to confront Okyia... I think.

But i also noticed one more thing.
This phrase : If Akai-san were still around, we wouldn't get nervious over people like Bourbon.
Is it just me, or that was ironic? I meant sure it's FBI agent not the mortuary agent, but hey - how about some respect for the dead?
It's sounds like he's annoyed by the fact that Akai is no longer around.
Could it be that he knows something?

I think so too, but I don't know that she recognized him.

It's just maybe she did. I remeber reading some old chapter when Sherry passed by Akai in the crowd. They both turn around with shocked experssion... Maybe she felt that it's Akai XD Sherry psychcic.

The thing is they mentioning it and that person suddenly came into their mind and like remind them about what to do. Same thing happend with Ran, but she mentioned alive person...

That happened after the case with the computer programmer in which the BO tried to force the man to write some application (and only got an unfinished program). At the very end, Haibara went to get Conan out of that shoe locker, and Akai suddenly notices them from behind and stares at them with a shocked expression. After which Haibara's sensor tingles and she turns around, but Akai already disappeared of course. Anyway, I had the impression it was only his gaze that made her jump back then.

Akai used to work for the Black Organization under the codename "Rye". He was close(emotionally, probably) to Akemi, and of course Shiho was close to Akemi too as her only remaining family member, so they were bound to have met at least once.

I hope he didn't. Actually, when Okiya first appeared in the manga, the first thought that stroke my head was:
OMG! He can't be Shuichi, can he? In this case again: Too many hints implying the possibility. >.<
Man! I am going crazy! I wanna know who he is! Dammit xd
