Star Wars, so he can...like...understand American culture. He can watch the others, or not, at his leisure.

Superman = Captain America > Aquaman = Hal Jordan > Wonder Woman > Barry Allen > Thor > Martian Manhunter > The Hulk > Wasp > Hawkeye > [power gap] > Iron Man = Batman > [power gap] > Hank Pym

Alright just to clear things up!
I have seen the Star Wars trilogy. But not all the damned prequels.
I have seen two of the LoTR movies - and I own the third on Platinum Series Special Extended Edition, I just haven't watched it since I got it years ago.
Harry Potter - I have seen two
of the movies (honestly not sure, but maybe I saw up to the one with the maze and that boy dying)
Twilight - None, but I'm pretty sure I know what happened just by everyone either raving about it or bitching about it, so...

@Abs.:
Star Wars: the original movies are, obviously, the best, but the prequels are definitely worth watching at least once. And they've got some pretty lame jokes/puns that you'd probably enjoy.
Lord of the Rings: You need to finish the series. All three of the movies are pretty awesome, imo. And the music in all three movies was amazing too. (At least, I think so. A lot of people don't care about the music so much though.)
Harry Potter: The first two movies are pretty good. The third movie - well, let's just say I'll never watch that movie again unless it's that or be killed. The fourth movie (which was the one with the maze) wasn't too horrible, but not that great either. I don't remember the fifth that much, or the sixth, so they probably aren't worth it. Personally, I'd just read the books if you're interested in the series, cause I'm not holding out much hope for the seventh movie(s), considering I didn't even like that book that much.
Twilight: Don't. Just don't even touch that one.

I've read all four of the books, and saw the first two movies - and narrowly escaped seeing Eclipse with a friend who loves the series. That's way more than enough for me.Sherlock3 wrote:OMG so agree, just don't even go near it!!!PhoenixTears wrote:

yea same here, i read the books and honestly i didn't think they were that bad, but the movies are a whole different story, i saw the first one and was roped into going to the second one, but i refused to watch the third one!!!PhoenixTears wrote:I've read all four of the books, and saw the first two movies - and narrowly escaped seeing Eclipse with a friend who loves the series. The fans don't bother me that much. Yeah, some of them are a little psychotic, but that goes for anything, not just Twilight.Sherlock3 wrote: yea same here, i read the books and honestly i didn't think they were that bad, but the movies are a whole different story, i saw the first one and was roped into going to the second one, but i refused to watch the third one!!!

I actually thought the books were worse than the movies (or what I've seen of them), but that could just be because Bella is whiny and clingy, and that's even more obnoxious when you have to read all her thoughts. But I was pretty close to throwing all of the books across my room at least once. The only reason I even read them in the first place was because Commi made me. (I was absolutely refusing on the basis of 'VAMPIRES DON'T SPARKLE', and she demanded I read them before I judge them, because she liked them at the time.) They were even worse than I was expecting. The movies were bad, but at least I could sit in the theater and distract myself from the craziness on-screen by mocking all of them in my head.
The biggest part of why I hate the series is Edward and Jacob. They're both manipulative, selfish, obnoxious jerks and I deal with enough of those in real life than I need to anyway. I don't want to read about them, too.

I honestly have no idea why I ever liked that series. The movies/fangirls ruined it. Saw the first, dragged to the second, utterly refused to see the third. (And I've heard that the fourth is gonna be split? What's up with that?)

I might wake up early and go running. I also might wake up and win the lottery. The odds are about the same.

What's up with it is they figured they'd copy Harry Potter

Yeah, that's incredibly stupid of them. What's worse is that there will probably be many, many screaming girls that will go to see both of them.Abs. wrote: What's up with it is they figured they'd copy Harry Potter

Harry Potter was split for a reason: there's just too much to do in three hours. Twilight, though... nothing happened in the last book! Seriously, it was horribly boring.
