Even though they aired one of those condensed cases in their timeslot (176-178 in 1hr.), there was probably some preview.  Unfortunately, I have no idea what it was because of the same reason as I did not post one a couple weeks ago:  My ISP is crap.

During the Lupin v Conan special, there were 2 commercials promoting M13.  I posted them on Megavideo, but they are stuck in the conversion stages.  So instead, they are on Megaupload.  No big loss because there is nothing new in either of them.

This week's 15 seconds.  For some reason, I thought there was a new episode this week.  Instead, it was a repeat of Episode #2.  In addition, they are airing Movie #12 on TV in Japan on April 17 at 9:00pm to help promote Movie #13 which will begin airing in theaters in one week.

This is a "Maybe" theory

Maybe there was a case that a member of the organization was involved. Maybe he left an evidence in the crime scene. Takagi and Satou got ahold of that evidence so they were targeted. Maybe the member that was involved in the case was Irish. Irish was disguised as Ran because it will be easier for Ran to obtain the evidence because she is the daughter of a famous detective. Irish, disguised as Ran, tried to kill someone with a knife.

Well, there's a lot of holes in this theory so i don't think this is possible.

Nice theory; but in the trailer, it seemed to me that the person who stabbed that "someone" (probably Megure) was Satou, not Ran.
