The Tower of London would be an appropriate place for a murder, given how many were carried out there, including the two children in the tower...

I can't figure out how the two swords would fit with it though...any ideas?

My proposition: St George's flag? It is the national flag of England, having a red cross (two swords crossed?) on a white field. This flag is flown for England's representatives at all international sport events, including the Wimbledon.

Anybody else thinks Hestia could be the mysterious woman we saw in the previous chapter ? I took a second look at files 745 & 746 and they do look a bit similar.

I think it's quite probable. It always would be more original option than if it was Yukiko.

Spoiler:
Hades would put bombs in every place mentioned in the riddle? Then the letters would be about the time of planned explosion. From the translation we know that Hades Sabara killed a lot of people, he's a psychopath who wants a revenge. Maybe this time he wants so destroy the most famous buildings of London?? And kill a lot of innocent people?
No, no, Hades' target is quite clear now...
Spoiler:
As we know, he revenged until now on everybody, friends, hospitals etc. The only one remaining on the list is the bookies-part. Since it is about betting, betting on a sport, we can again go back to tennis, where you can bet in the UK. If Hades lost money because Minerva won or lost it would be clear why she would be a target. I don't thnk Hades is aiming for innocent people, the people have to do something with his misfortune to at least some extent.
cool that's a good point. maybe that year that Hades lost a lot of money was the same year that Minerva first started out, so the odds would be all against her. But she turned out to be a star player, and he lost the money? And he's going to kill her now as revenge!

btw, Hades' mother looks like Diana?? o_o (isn't it suspicious that her hat is tipped over her face in the picture...?) and yes, Hestia does resemble our Mystery Woman a little!!

That's why I always say making up theories about "who someone might or might not be and why" is not worth the time. We spent 10 pages discussing if she was Yukiko or Ai, and it ends up being someone completely new that we could never have guessed.  :-*

Of course it's worth the time. There is a mystery, you have hints, and you have suspects. What so you think mystery fans are going to do? The trick is not to ignore the third party option. Also by no means it is certain this person is Hestia. I'm still in the Apollo and Minerva Glass's mom camp.

I'll just add in here that while I don't usually participate in these topics (not out of lack of interest but because there's only so much time in the day), the forum discussions usually do solve the cases long, long before the final file. In fact, for most, Chekhov & company have already dissected and worked them out by the end of the second file (of the usual length cases).

That's pretty awesome any way you cut it. Go Team DCTP amirite!?!?1/1/ :-*
