I think that's a combination of hair and shadow, not blood.  You can see a break in the darkness between where the hair ends and the nose shadow begins.

Agreed, Ginrei. That said, anyone care to translate that last line between Gin and Chianti? I'm not sure I got it right. (I can't type Chianti without thinking of fava beans. Does that happen to anyone else? She does seem like the liver eating type though)

This movie is going to be so lame if it nearly kills the people associated with Conan, but doesn't actually kill any of them.

But if it is canon anyways, they could kill off some characters, like in FMA.  Movies should be realizations of some fanfictions. Now that would be pretty awesome.

Movie 2 was okay, the culprit didn't really go for sure kills on anyone except his real target (though the ending with Ran kinda makes it seem like the misdirection targets lived only because of amazing luck, not because of the culprit held back some due to pangs of conscience). The Black Org. tries for sure kills too often for me to buy them merely injuring several intended targets then giving up (assuming the rollover is even directly Org. related, which, of course, isn't really a safe assumption despite the "Chianti targets Sato" scene ETA: especially since Sato isn't in her red car when Chianti scopes her ETA2: And, apart from being red, it doesn't really look like it is Sato's car)).

Isn't that about the only time a female character has been struck directly in the face during the whole series? Vermouth got a stray shotgun pellet, but the target was her torso. (Not counting open hand slaps, which I think there have been a couple.)
