Just caught up to the anime, Tousen has, surprisingly, made to my fave characters list. After his final battle with Fox-head Komamura and Hisagi, it just made me like him so much better.

And the fight was really good also - I especially liked the themes that were tied in, such as in his hollow form, he can see, but the senses he honed his whole life is thrown to waste.
Plus his whole sense of justice is awesome.
Ichigo's dad is dumb. That is all. I think it's lame that his dad was a Shinigami. And, the battles leading up to Aizen were interesting because of flashbacks, but I mean, seriously, I don't want to see people just getting their asses whooped by him without any plot. Can we learn something new yet? ugh. The aizen battle has dragged on for too long; I know he's like some sort of big boss and you can't kill him off in like 4 episodes, but seriously.
Also, wtfbbq more Ulquiorra now. And Rukia. Why did they kill off one of the best characters in the whole show? And he wasn't even given a flashback like all the other espadas, wtf!
I agree that Hisagi really paid of in that episode. He became an awesome character during that time.
And the thing about Aizen, it's just like Dragonball. A very badass enemy where even if you send all the characters to fight him, they will all get defeated unless it's the main character. And I also wonder about Ulquiorra. Maybe his past wasn't revealed because he was maybe revived by Inoue. :O

In the manga, this arc has already ended. And it's quite disappointing that Aizen was defeated in a mere 3-5 chapters by Ichigo who suddenly became uber powerful. But of course, it's expected since he's the main character (Although Urahara helped him there).
Since the manga is still continuing, we may still learn more about Ichigo's dad and why the heck does he have hollow powers.
But in Bleach I still prefere Yoruichi (she´s just awesome) and Halibel (she´s son dam cool and badass when fighting and also, the moment she drew her sword was awesome). I would also choose Neliel but I hate her voice.
And the other women like Matsumoto (specially her), Nanao-chan, or the one of the fireworks because have such funny scenes in the series!

Yoruichi is cool, I agree, Halibel is really just eye candy I think she looks better with her mask on.
Matsumoto is meh for me, Rukia still wins it
Is it bad that I read this in the Viz Shonen Jump every month (and own every volume through the end of the Soul Society arc) and still don't remember 3 of the 4 characters Ranger just mentioned?

Depends on how far the Viz Shonen Jump you got, if you read all the way up to Soul Society, you should know 3 characters I mentioned - Rukia (which I'm guessing who you know), Yoruichi (the cat transformer) and Rangiku Matsumoto (blonde haired with giant boobs, not Orihime).
Halibel is a new character part of the Evil Aizen story, she is a scantily clad Espada.
