Though I do have AR, its only used for cloning pokemon. But I helped a lot of people with cloning so everyone was giving me rare candies. And the only reason I got the AR is because I had a bad experience in trading pokemon and someone stole it.Detective Tommy wrote:It's hard to evolve Pokemon with love/happiness.PhoenixTears wrote:I know. Mafia: The only place where you can find Gin and Akai married together with 8 kids all disguised as Akai. Or something epic like that.

Yeah. Sometimes it seemed like less, though. I might wake up early and go running. I also might wake up and win the lottery. The odds are about the same.

They were less than 999. Even less than 200. It was awesome anyways, as long you didn't cheat the TOWN MAP as I did. Since those aren't stored in the same slot, I had more than 100 TOWN MAPS in my PC BOXCommi-Ninja wrote:Yeah. Sometimes it seemed like less, though. Oh. I've never once used any cheat material in any of my Pokemon games.
Mostly because I didn't know where to buy the adapters.

There was no adapter necessary in the first generation games. It was all about surfing near Cinnabar....Detective Tommy wrote: Oh. I've never once used any cheat material in any of my Pokemon games.

What do you mean? Rare candies were found by surfing?Commi-Ninja wrote:There was no adapter necessary in the first generation games. It was all about surfing near Cinnabar....Detective Tommy wrote: Oh. I've never once used any cheat material in any of my Pokemon games.

No. Rare candies were multiplied by surfing. Sort of. That's not the entire cheat, but it's most of it.Detective Tommy wrote:What do you mean? It was an in-game glitch. You had to talk to that old man in Viridian City, then surf near Cinnabar, and then you found a glitch pokemon and whichever item was in the 6th (if I remember right) slot in your bag, got multiplied.Detective Tommy wrote:What do you mean? So, if you had a rare candy in your bag - and just keep surfing near Cinnabar, the rare candies multiply?Commi-Ninja wrote: No. Rare candies were multiplied by surfing. Sort of. That's not the entire cheat, but it's most of it.
Oh. So basically you could multiply any item that could be held. Interesting.. Wish I knew of this cheat when I was a kid, and played 1st Gen.pofa wrote: It was an in-game glitch. Yep. And you could switch items around and have a large number of just about anything you could ever want/need.pofa wrote:It was an in-game glitch. It's surprising how easy the game is when you have infinite master balls.Commi-Ninja wrote:Yep. Also, whlie surfing for missingo, the glitch pokemon, you could find various normal pokemon above level 100. While surfing, I got 3x level 136 snorlaxes, and 3x level 152 muks, and used them to beat the elite four.
The only problem with them is that when they get exp, they level down to level 100. D:
