What's your height? (meters)

I'm from the USA and I don't understand the metric system, but even though it'll take me 10 seconds to google my height in the imperial system and find out my height in the metric system, I'm still going to bitch about it.

I'm gonna bitch about it, but anyway I'm about 5'11.5" (yes, the .5 is imprtant because I like to be as close to 6' as possible because I will never be there but I'm so close D:), so I chose 1.81.

Ironically, I use the metric system but had to calculate my height from the imperial system.
I hope the above measurement shows a normal distribution ;D

well, yeah. But I'm just wondering why you prominently use the metric system over there, and yet you (well, some people, maybe not necessarily you) decide to convert it to a more inefficient system anyway.

If it wasn't for the fact that everything in the US is Imperial, I'd use metric too.
