I think flamethrower would  be a pretty good answer (the one I would vote for if it was an option), since it's pretty cool[/i] hot, and would be effective.

b) And I for one know that as a beer slayer, the last thing I want in beer is insect repellent.

I fail even worse than I thought.
First I don't notice this wasn't about what I personally would use against bees, but about Anokyl the bee slayer. Abs. even tried to tell me but I just didn't get it until voting had already closed.
Then I fail to notice that there's a difference in spelling.

Edit: I agree, I'd rather have a sword in my beer than an insect repellent.
Also, "Akonyl, the beer slayer" would be an awesome concept for a novel.

There are two possibilities in this case.
1) Akonyl is an alchoholic, but deeply hates beer, due to it's low % of alchohol, which means he should be drunk most of the time.
2) He slays beer because it's an alchoholic drink, which means that he's against alchohol in general.
